AeroPress Championship Recipe
Brew like a champion with this competition-winning AeroPress technique. Discover the inverted method for maximum flavor extraction.

Overview
The AeroPress has become a favorite among coffee lovers for good reason—it combines immersion brewing and pressure extraction in a compact, durable design. This unique method creates a smooth, rich coffee concentrate that falls between espresso and pour-over in terms of flavor and strength.
What makes the AeroPress stand out is its versatility and consistency. Whether you use the standard or inverted method, this portable coffee maker delivers excellent results with minimal effort. It's perfect for travel, camping, office coffee, or daily brewing at home.
If you're looking for a reliable and easy-to-use manual coffee maker that produces barista-quality results, the AeroPress is one of the best options on the market.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Set Up the Inverted AeroPress
Place the AeroPress in the inverted position with the plunger inserted about 1cm into the chamber (plunger on the bottom, chamber on top). Ensure it's stable on a flat surface.
Step 2: Add Coffee and Bloom
Add 17g of medium-fine ground coffee into the chamber. Start your timer and pour in 50g of hot water (around 200°F / 93°C). Stir gently for about 10 seconds to fully saturate the grounds.
Step 3: Top Off and Press
At the 30-second mark, add the remaining water until you reach your target weight (typically around 250g total).
At 1:15, attach the filter cap, carefully flip the AeroPress onto your mug, and press steadily for 30 seconds until you hear a slight hissing sound.
