Features Of The Ninja CE251
Thermal Flavor Extraction Technology
This is one of the features that really sets Ninja coffee makers apart from the competition. This technology ensures that you always have a perfect cup of coffee every time. It does this by controlling all aspects of the coffee brewing process. It controls the bloom time, the water temperature, and even the lever of saturation the coffee receives! Far more advanced than your average coffee maker.
Programmable Warming Plate
The warming plate will keep your coffee hot for 2 hours by default. To program the warming plate, press the “Stay Warm” button, then press the hour(H) or minute(M) button to adjust the time you want the warming plate to stay active (up to 4 hours) after you’ve set the time press the “Stay Warm” button again to save the time.
This feature circulates the coffee as it’s being brewed to ensure every cup tastes just like the last. While a great idea, we think it would have been better if this straw was removable. That being said, the straw is made from BPA free plastic and can be cleaned during the descaling process or by running vinegar and water through the coffee maker.
Removable Water Reservoir
This feature is useful if you’re like me and spill half the water when refilling a coffee maker. The fact that the water reservoir is removable allows you to take it off and fill it in your sink.
Do you like your coffee ready when you wake up? If so, then this feature is what you need in your life! It features a 24-hour programmable delay brew, this allows you to set the time your coffee is brewed. There’s nothing like freshly brewed coffee in the morning!
The Ninja CE251 Brews 12 cups of coffee in 12-15 minutes. If you can’t stand to wait this long, you can interrupt the brewing process and pour yourself a cup. Once you have your cup, by returning the carafe to the brewer the brewing process will continue.
2 Brew Strengths
The Ninja CE251 has 2 brewing strengths: Classic and Rich.
Small Batch Brewing
Don’t need 12 cups of coffee? The small-batch brewing function is what you need. If you’re brewing 4 cups or less, simply add the amount of water you want to use, and press the “Small Batch” button, and you’ll have just the amount of coffee you want in a few minutes.
