Galactic Blue Matcha Cold Brew

Cold Brew Base

1. Combine coarsely ground coffee with room temperature water in a jar or cold brew maker
2. Stir gently to ensure all grounds are saturated
3. Cover and steep in refrigerator for 12 hours
4. Strain through fine mesh or cold brew filter

Blue Matcha Foam

1. Whisk matcha powder with 2 tbsp warm water until smooth
2. Add blue spirulina powder and whisk until combined
3. Add milk and sweetener, then froth using milk frother or French press

Assembly

1. Fill glasses with ice
2. Pour cold brew concentrate, leaving 2 inches at top
3. Gently spoon blue matcha foam over coffee to create layers
4. Serve immediately with a straw

• Use a 1:1 ratio of cold brew concentrate to water, adjust to taste
• For best layering effect, pour foam slowly over the back of a spoon
• Blue spirulina is flavorless and adds amazing color - start with less and add more for deeper blue
• Make cold brew concentrate in batches and store in fridge for up to 2 weeks
• Experiment with different milk alternatives - oat milk creates the creamiest foam
