Meteorite Matcha Cold Brew

Cold Brew Base

1. Combine coarse ground coffee with room temperature filtered water in a jar
2. Stir gently and steep for 12 hours at room temperature
3. Strain through fine mesh strainer and coffee filter

Matcha Layer

1. Sift matcha powder into a bowl
2. Add hot water (175°F) and whisk vigorously until frothy
3. Let cool to room temperature

Assembly

1. Fill glasses with ice
2. Pour cold brew concentrate until glasses are 2/3 full
3. Mix matcha with milk and simple syrup
4. Slowly pour matcha mixture over the back of a spoon to create layers
5. Sprinkle black sesame seeds on top for the "meteorite" effect

• Use a 1:7.5 coffee to water ratio for concentrate strength
• Chill all components before assembly for best layering
• The matcha layer should be slightly denser than the cold brew for proper separation
• Swirl gently before drinking to combine flavors
• Store cold brew concentrate in fridge for up to 1 week
