About CoffeeLogik — Better Coffee, One Brew at a Time

CoffeeLogik started with a simple frustration: I kept seeing the same generic coffee advice online. “Use freshly ground beans.” “Watch your water temperature.” Sure, thanks. But what grind should I use for my Chemex? How much coffee for my French press? What makes a good grinder at $50 vs. $300?

So I started testing. Comparing. Taking notes. Breaking my morning routine into a science. And slowly, my coffee went from “meh” to something worth sharing.

CoffeeLogik is where I put all of that. No fluff. No gatekeeping. Just honest, tested information for home brewers who want to make better coffee without spending a fortune or reading a textbook.

Who’s Behind This?

I’m Ashley — a 45-year-old from Georgia who works in telecom by day and obsesses over coffee by morning. I’ve been brewing at home for years, and along the way I learned that the gap between “okay coffee” and “great coffee” isn’t about expensive gear. It’s about knowing what matters.

I started CoffeeLogik because I wished someone had given me this information five years ago. Instead of reading through 50 confusing articles to piece together a single brewing method, I want to give you everything in one clear, practical guide. Think of it as the resource I always wanted.

When I’m not writing, I’m usually: experimenting with new brew methods, reading about coffee processing, or trying to convince my family that spending $40 on a good grinder is actually a smart purchase. (They’re still not convinced.)

What Makes CoffeeLogik Different?

Hands-on testing. When I review a grinder, I’ve ground thousands of beans through it. When I write a brewing guide, I’ve made that method 20+ times, tweaking variables until I know what works. Every recommendation comes from real, hands-on experience — not affiliate marketing strategies or copy-pasted specs.

Honest recommendations. You don’t need a $1,000 espresso machine to make great coffee. I’ll always tell you the best option at every price point — including the $20 grinder that punches above its weight class.

Real transparency. Yes, I earn commissions on some product links. But here’s the deal: I never recommend a product I wouldn’t use myself. If I wouldn’t buy it, you won’t see it here. Period.
