How to fix it

    Quick Reference: Grind Size Spectrum

    📏 Why grind size matters

Grind size controls how fast water extracts flavor from coffee. Too fine = over-extracted (bitter). Too coarse = under-extracted (sour). The right grind is the sweet spot.

    🎯 The one-variable rule

When adjusting, change only ONE thing at a time: either grind size OR brew time OR water temp. Wait 3-5 cups before adjusting again so you can taste the difference.

⚙️ When to upgrade your grinder

Blade grinders create uneven particles that cause simultaneous over- and under-extraction. A burr grinder gives uniform particles and makes dialing in your brew dramatically easier.
