Preparation Ritual

  1. Sacred Grinding: Grind coffee beans to fine consistency while holding intention for the day ahead
  2. Curry Leaf Blessing: Gently bruise curry leaves between palms to release oils, then place in brewing vessel
  3. First Decoction: Place ground coffee in traditional filter top chamber, add curry leaves, pour 120ml hot water slowly in circular motions
  4. Patient Waiting: Allow decoction to drip slowly (20-30 minutes) - this is meditation time
  5. Second Extraction: Pour remaining 120ml water through grounds for lighter second decoction
  6. Milk Preparation: Heat milk gently, dissolve jaggery completely
  7. Sacred Mixing: Combine strong first decoction with sweetened milk in 1:1 ratio
