- Prepare lemongrass: Bruise lemongrass stalks with the back of a knife and cut into 2-inch pieces.
- Combine ingredients: In a large jar or cold brew maker, combine coarse ground coffee and lemongrass pieces.
- Add water: Pour room temperature filtered water over coffee and lemongrass. Stir gently to ensure all grounds are saturated.
- Steep: Cover and refrigerate for 12 hours.
- Strain: Remove lemongrass pieces, then strain coffee through a fine-mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth or coffee filter.
