A cosmic fusion of smooth cold brew coffee and earthy matcha, creating layers that resemble a meteorite’s striking appearance. This refreshing drink combines the best of both worlds with a dramatic visual presentation that’s surprisingly simple to make at home.

Cold Brew Base

  1. Combine coarse ground coffee with room temperature filtered water in a jar
  2. Stir gently and steep for 12 hours at room temperature
  3. Strain through fine mesh strainer and coffee filter

Matcha Layer

  1. Sift matcha powder into a bowl
  2. Add hot water (175°F) and whisk vigorously until frothy
  3. Let cool to room temperature

Assembly

  1. Fill glasses with ice
  2. Pour cold brew concentrate until glasses are 2/3 full
  3. Mix matcha with milk and simple syrup
  4. Slowly pour matcha mixture over the back of a spoon to create layers
  5. Sprinkle black sesame seeds on top for the "meteorite" effect
