Method
Boil water and let it cool for about one minute to reach approximately 200°F.
Grind your coffee beans to a coarse consistency, similar to sea salt.
Add the ground coffee to the empty French press carafe.
Pour a small amount of hot water over the grounds to bloom them for 30 seconds.
Pour the remaining hot water into the press, ensuring all grounds are saturated.
Place the lid on top with the plunger pulled up and let the coffee steep for four minutes.
Press the plunger down slowly and steadily to separate the grounds from the liquid.
Pour the brewed coffee immediately into your mug to prevent over-extraction.
