Method
Fill the bottom chamber of the Moka pot with hot water up to the safety valve line.
Place the filter basket into the bottom chamber and fill it with ground coffee without tamping it down.
Screw the top chamber onto the base tightly to ensure a good seal.
Place the Moka pot on the stovetop over medium-low heat.
Wait for the coffee to begin flowing into the upper chamber; reduce heat if it flows too quickly.
Remove the pot from the heat as soon as you hear a gurgling sound to prevent burning the coffee.
Pour immediately into your cup and enjoy black or with your preferred additions.
