One filter, no ongoing cost
The laser-cut stainless steel mesh filter is reusable, so there’s nothing to restock the way there is with paper-filter drippers. It sits in the glass carafe and you pour hot water over grounds directly, the standard manual pour-over method, just packaged into a single-serve travel-friendly set.
What the 27oz version tells us about this one
No independent review of the 10.5oz size specifically was located, but a reviewer tested the 27oz carafe, which uses the same glass and filter design at a larger volume. Two findings there are worth carrying over: the glass “feels delicate and prone to cracking if mishandled,” and fine sediment showed up in the cup, especially with finer grinds, despite the filter being well-made. Both are properties of the shared glass-and-mesh construction rather than something specific to the larger size, so they’re a reasonable guide to what the 10.5oz version will do — but they are inferred, not measured on this exact product.
Sized for one cup, not for sharing
At 300ml, this is a single-cup brewer. That’s the point for a desk or travel setup, but it means there’s no version of this exact size that scales up for a second person — you’d move to the 14oz or 27oz carafe from the same line instead.
Before you buy
- Handle the glass carafe carefully, especially in a bag or on a desk edge — delicacy is a reported issue on the larger sibling size.
- Use a coarser grind if fine sediment in the cup bothers you; it’s a property of steel mesh filters generally.
- Confirm which size you’re ordering — Coffee Gator sells this design in at least three volumes and it’s easy to select the wrong one.
- Don’t expect a carafe you can leave for a group; 300ml is one serving.
