The 20-bar figure describes the pump, not the pressure coffee is actually extracted at; nine bars is the conventional target, and pumps are routinely rated well above that number.
A different Tenker machine has been tested, not this one
We found one detailed independent review of a Tenker espresso machine, the CM5380. That machine is a different product: a 1100W manual model with a hand-operated steam wand, no touchscreen, and a 1.2-liter tank. It is not the automatic, touchscreen model reviewed here, and its results should not be assumed to carry over.
What nobody has verified
Neither Tenker nor any retailer we found discloses whether the portafilter takes pressurized (dual-wall) or single-wall baskets, which affects what kind of shots the machine can pull. Boiler type, temperature stability during a milk-and-shot sequence, and long-term reliability of the touchscreen and frother are also unconfirmed.
